Beyond my medical career, I am also a lifelong multimedia artist. Since childhood, I have been drawn to color, radiance, and texture; now working primarily with resin, beads/rhinestones, acrylics, and repurposed jewelry. Inspiration for my artwork comes from various sources, but mainly the desire to transform an ordinary object into something unapologetically whimsical and bold. I genuinely believe that everyday life is brighter and more joyful when there is a touch of sparkle.My dual passions for psychiatry and art often intersect. I try to incorporate art into my clinical work as a therapeutic tool, offering patients new avenues of self-expression and reflection in a safe and supportive environment.For myself, art is my respite and renewal; a way to channel thejoys, frustrations, and demands of medicine. I am committed to the belief that creativity and human connection are essential to healing. Whether I am guiding a patient through life’s challenges, mentoring a trainee, or crafting a dramatic statement piece, my work is grounded in the sameprinciple: that resilience, like art, is created through layering, reframing, and finding brilliance in even the most ordinary materials.
